How do I enter the Commute Solutions Challenge?
If you are registering for the first time, you will need to create an account. Click on the Create Account link in the blue column on the right on the home page of this Web site. You will be asked for your name, address, employer and an e-mail address. Create a username and password for yourself. Be sure to remember your username, because it allows you to recover your password if you lose it!

Once you have created your account, you can use your username and password to login from the home page of the Commute Solutions Web site. After logging in, choose the commute alternative you used from the pull down menu. Enter the mileage you traveled to and from work in the text field below the pull down menu and click, "Update My Mileage." Updating your mileage enters you into the drawings for great prizes.

Your mileage will be added to the overall number of miles saved by all the Commute Solutions Challenge participants, but the total displayed on the page only updates once a day at midnight.

What if I lose my password?
Find the link titled "Lost My Password" in the blue column on the right side of the screen. Enter your username and click "E-mail My Password." A message will be sent to your e-mail account with your password in it. Check your e-mail to recover your password.

What if I do not have my own e-mail account or share an account as a part of a company program?
Some players will be taking part in the Commute Solutions Challenge at their place of employment. If you are participating in a company-wide program and are sharing an e-mail account with other co-workers, a program coordinator or your supervisor will have access to the joint e-mail account. If you lose your password, click on the "Lost My Password" link in the blue column on the right side of the screen, enter your username and click "E-mail My Password." An e-mail with your username and password will be sent to the joint e-mail account, and your supervisor or program coordinator will be able to retrieve it for you.
