Try parking your vehicle, even for a day, and instead carpool, vanpool, take DART or the T, or work from home. Even if you eat in instead of driving to lunch, you'll help reduce air pollution, and you could win big prizes.

Every time you "try parking it" and share a ride or telecommute, just log the miles you saved with the Commuter Challenge and let us know how you contributed to cleaner air.

The Commuter Challenge tracks the miles you would have driven by yourself. In fact, we'll track the miles saved for North Texas.

Too many single-occupant vehicles are on North Texas roadways causing traffic and air pollution. Most of the dirty air we breathe comes from cars, not industry.
